SEEDS second general assembly and stakeholder engagement meeting

The SEEDS second General Assembly and Stakeholder Engagement Meeting, which took place on 30-31st March in the Lobelia office in Barcelona, brought together more than a hundred assistants (online and presential) to discuss about the state of the art of satellite-derived air pollutant emissions and depositions products and how they can be used in agriculture, industry and cities.

Panellists from partner institutes from a variety of backgrounds shared the current status of their research on the new developments of the service. Potential users of SEEDS products were also invited to share their perspective and feedback. The meeting was divided into four sessions focusing respectively on industrial emissions, fire emissions, emissions in cities, and agricultural emissions.

The variety of applications offered by the project generated a great interest among the assistants and sparked interdisciplinary conversations. It was both refreshing and exciting to learn about such a diversity of applications. It was also the occasion for the organisers to meet again and prepare the final meetings and seminars before the end of the project, at the end of the year.
